Welcome to my exciting and interesting world of digital communication, new media and living online. Creation and maintenance of this blog is a part of our faculty subject New Media and Society where we will be exploring new communication tools and how are they influencing and changing our "offline" lives.
Let me first introduce myself - my name is Matej Molek and last year I graduated from Media and Communication Studies at Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana
Since my early teenage years I was using social network sites, from hi5, Myspace, Netlog, LinkedIn to Facebook, P2P (Google groups), instant communication tools (MSN, Skype), digital libraries and much more. I am also managing my photographic blog where I post my photos.
I am really interested about new media and digital technology because they are already dramatically altering our »offline« lives and offering us new ways and patterns of working, thinking, living etc., so I would like to get a better understanding and insight into this field of work, especially because I just started working as a public relations assistant and digital communication is the future of PR.
